HERE IS THE COMPLETE LIST OF THE CLASSES OFFERED BY LA MUSE THIS FALL. THE SESSIONS WILL BE GOING FOR 12 WEEK-11 WEEKS IF THERE IS A HOLIDAY THAT FALLS ON THE DAY OF THE CLASS.
MOST CLASSES ARE OFFERED IN FRENCH
AS WELL AS AFTER SCHOOL CLASSES LA MUSE OFFERS CURRICULUM BASED IN CLASS WORKSHOPS, TEACHERS TRAINING AND CAN CUSTOM ORGANIZE ANY SPECIAL PROJECT.

Get your hands dirty, and give the possibility to your child to explore with different textures, materials, color. Build, make marks, paint, cut, tear, create! Let your child guide you through experiment and exploration, it is your time to follow his lead, for one hour of pure connection! WE CLEAN UP THE MESS...
*TINY FINGERS:
this class is designed to break your child into the world of visual arts. EXPERIMENT, DISCOVER, GET DIRTY AND HAVE FUN! Emphasis on the learning of french vocabulary will applied through the classes. THIS CLASS IS GREAT FOR THE CHILD WHO IS OR WHO IS PLANNING TO, ENTER THE FRENCH IMMERSION SYSTEM.
*ART RECYCLÉ:
Have you notice how much stuff goes to the recycling bin? How much beautiful object are put out on the street and end up in the landfill?
The goal with this class is to acquire the vision to use creativity to create amazing works of art, make stuff that can be reused in your home. Your child will do this through the use of many traditional art techniques. DO YOU HAVE THE VISION?
*PETITS ARTISTES:
This class is designed to create an atmosphere where the young children will be free to create. The experimentation with a variety of techniques and materials will allow them to deepen their knowledge and understanding of visual arts. They will expand their french vocabulary and also be more confident in their ability to make choice and trust their uniqueness.
Painting, printing, modeling, drawing, building, will be explored as he different themes unfold.
YOUR CHILD WILL HAVE TO LEARN IN A FUN, CREATIVE AND LOVING ENVIRONMENT!
*PETITS ARCHITECTES:
This new class, your child will explore the 3-D world. He will build his environment in volume, interior and exterior maquettes, using many materials that is appropriate for building, will learn building techniques that are appropriate to his fine motor skills.
WILL WE DISCOVER FUTURE ARCHITECTS?
GRANDS ARCHITECTES:
In this class the children will learn to build in 3-D. They will build their environment or use their imagination and create a new environment! They will learn the construction techniques work with the appropriate materials to allow them to transform their drawing from 2-D to 3-D.
*GRANDS ARTISTES:
This class is designed for the older children that have had the opportunity to experiment with a variety of techniques already and have a general understanding of the visual arts. The grands artistes will be taken a step further and encouraged to express themselves through their art pieces
A variety of techniques and materials will be explored as well but the instructor will be seeing more in depth their possibilities. The classes will be organized in themes, that are appropriate to the age group.
YOUR CHILD WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO USE THEIR TALENT AND CREATIVITY TO EXPRESS WHO THEY ARE, THEIR VIEWS ON DIFFERENT SUBJECT THAT ARE INTERESTING TO THEM!
* MOSAIQUE MAKING:
After beeing given an overview of the history and the different application of mosaic through the ages and the different styles of mosaic, you will learn the different techniques and applications and trics to this wonderful art. We will work with glass, tiles in a 2-D or a 3-D manner. You can create wonderful object of art, work in a figurative or abstract , to create an image or a decorative work of art! ONE PIECE AT A TIME!
